- Redmond is known as the “Bicycle Capital of the Northwest” because of its annual bike race and having the only Velodrome in the entire state.
- Marymoor Park throws concerts throughout summer, hosting the best artists in the music industry (Norah Jones, Peter, Paul & Mary, Rob Thomas, and Duran Duran are a few to name). It also has Cirque du Soleil every year.
- During the summer months, you have to check out the Redmond Saturday Market, which is the oldest farmers’ market in the east side area of Seattle. It sits on about 8,000 square feet near the Redmond Town Center.
