- I’ve heard dental implants take six months or longer to heal. How is it possible to leave with my new teeth in just one day?
Dr. Shawn Keller combines the precise technology of his Same Day New Smile™ procedure with the ICAT 3D scanner and platelet-rich plasma. By placing the implants in the strongest, safest position and connecting them to each other, the benefits stack up. You can have a full arch of teeth on just four strong implants, cutting down on the cost of extra implants.

Using platelet-rich plasma allows for faster regeneration of tissue, assisting in adding bone so implants can be placed in people who otherwise could not receive implants. - Am I too old for this procedure?
Age is not necessarily a huge factor in placing implants. If you have other health concerns, Dr. Keller will speak with your other doctors and determine if this is safe for you. - I hate the dentist and I’m very nervous about dental treatment. Is there anything that can help with that?
Dr. Keller uses advanced sedation techniques to help you sleep through the entire appointment. On the day of treatment, you will come in and fall asleep, and wake up with your new smile!
- How can a smile be made in one day, and what if I don’t like it?
There is careful planning that happens before the actual day of treatment. Using his artistic touch and facts about what you liked or didn’t like about your previous denture or teeth, Dr. Keller will have a provisional version of your teeth that are attached that day. These are beautiful and look and act like the final version, but they are just a trial version. You will wear these while you and Dr. Keller make any changes that need to be made until you love the way it
looks and feels. Dr. Keller usually has a great idea of what will look perfect, but it’s hard to know until you have worn it for a while. If you want it whiter or not so white, longer, shorter, or any other changes, this is done on the “trial smile.” Then weeks later, the permanent bridge is duplicated from this, so the only surprises are positive ones! - I’m a very busy person and want this done in a few appointments and as quickly as possible. How long with this take?
